The jobholder will join the Combat Air Systems FALs Performance & Improvement team (TAOCP) which leads the process improvement of several Eurofighter Assembly Lines, major components equipping and Drone Prototyping at the Airbus site of Getafe.
As Project Manager P&I Combat Aircraft, he/she will be in charge of supporting operational excellence in order to ensure world-class competitiveness through effective and efficient processes leading to high customer satisfaction within a state of the art industrial environment.
In this position he/she will directly contribute to the success the Combat Aircraft Production for Halcon as well as Drone business.
He/She will report to the Head of Industrial P&I Combat Aircraft FALs & MRO (TAOCP).
Due to the transversal role, it´s mandatory to run the daily business is Spanish and English . Remote working is part of the job.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Driving, monitoring and implementing the OES Master Plan (Operational Excellence System) to support the Production areas.
- Leading strategical and tactical Improvement projects for HALCON Eurofighter Final Assembly Line, Right Hand Wing Production and SIRTAP.
- Support and coordination of OES internal and transversal assessments
- Preparation of Excellence Committees, taking part for the distribution of actions and follow-up.
- Deployment of Performance Management routines (BSC/SQCDP) standardization throughout the organization.
- Customizing the KPI tree across the Operational Value Stream ensuring the right connection with the control room.
- Supporting and managing Continuous Improvement (TIPs).
- Sharing of benchmarks, best practices and synergies across COMBAT plants and sites in both countries (Germany and Spain)
- Promoting and managing bottom-up ideas generation in the plants and sites.
- Ensuring efficient reporting and digital visualization of the operational capabilities of all programs within the scope (e.g. BSC, SQCDP) as well as the progress of strategic projects and improvement initiatives.
- Supporting communication for new initiatives and thus being the channel of connection with shop-floor.
- Contribute to Digitalization and Innovation initiatives by collecting requirements and deployment of implementation projects
- Acting as improvement ambassador for interna communication (HUB, production magazine, streaming)
- You love to work in a thriving environment, you enjoy orchestrating and aligning differing objectives, making sure all stakeholders are involved and engaged among Sites and Countries, and you are driven by excellence.
- University degree (engineering / business administration) or comparable education.
- Expertise and knowledge in continuous improvement, OES and innovation.
- Experience as project manager, preferable for transversal projects (PMP/LBIP+)
- Knowledge on SQCDP, BSC, DeMaT is welcome
- Fluent in English and Spanish language (German are a plus).
- Ability to work in a team, customer centricity, distinct sense of responsibility, can-do attitude, self-reliant, structured, flexible and pro-active working style is required
