Office & Workplace Manager

Full-time - Berlin - Onsite

Our mission for you

At trawa, we believe the green energy transition starts with the people who make it possible, and that begins with where and how they work. We’ve grown from a small team to more than 100 people, and we’re still scaling. Throughout that growth, we’ve protected something we care deeply about: a beautiful office people genuinely enjoy coming to. Keeping it that way as we grow further takes someone who truly owns it - and that’s the role we’re hiring for.

As our Office & Workplace Manager, you’ll be the operational backbone and welcoming face of our Berlin office. You’ll make sure everything runs smoothly day to day and shape a space people are genuinely happy to walk into every morning. It’s a hands-on role with real ownership, real impact, and plenty of room to build.

If this sounds exciting to you, we can’t wait to meet you!

What you’ll own

  • Keep the office running smoothly. You own the day-to-day: supplies, snacks and drinks, team lunches, deliveries and mail, and the upkeep that keeps both our office looking and feeling great.

  • Build the structure behind it. You’ll put real systems in place as we scale: ordering schedules, vendor management, an office hub in Notion, and clear, documented processes that people can rely on.

  • Make the office an experience. You’re the person who spots what would make someone’s day better and makes it happen - from small everyday touches to moments that build real community.

  • Raise the bar over time. You don't just keep things running, you make them better. You're always spotting what could be smoother, sharper, or more efficient, and you get excited by putting those improvements into practice.

  • Manage facilities and partners. You’re the main point of contact for building management, our cleaning team, suppliers, and other external partners, always with an eye on quality, reliability, and cost-conscious decisions.

Who we're looking for

  • You have 3+ years of experience in office or workplace management, hospitality, or operations - ideally in a startup or fast-growing environment.

  • You’re proactive by default. You spot what needs doing before anyone asks, you come with solutions rather than just questions, and you take full ownership of your area.

  • You’re structured and raise the bar. You build systems, keep things organised and documented, and are always looking for ways to make them better and more efficient.

  • You’re genuinely a people person. You’re warm, approachable, and get real energy from creating a great experience for the people around you.

  • You communicate clearly and confidently, with the team and external partners, in fluent German and English.

  • You’re comfortable with digital tools such as Google Workspace, Notion, Slack.

90 day goals

After 4 weeks (Onboarding):

  • You’re independently running all day-to-day office operations, from supplies and food to deliveries and general upkeep.

  • You’ve set up the first version of our office management hub in Notion to track tasks and document core processes.

  • You’ve gotten to know the team and have a clear sense of what people value most about the office and where it can be even better.

Month 3 (Ramp-Up):

  • You’ve created an Office Roadmap that outlines your ideal setup, an honest view of where we stand today, and concrete priorities and ideas we can turn into measurable goals.

  • You’ve put a budget overview in place, giving visibility and control over office spend.

  • Your first improvements are live, with visible quick wins that noticeably improve the everyday office experience.
