Do you want to help shape Europe’s energy transition and make a real impact on how businesses access clean and affordable energy? As Expansion Manager (m/f/d), you will play a pivotal role in bringing trawa’s vision to new European markets. Together with our leadership team, you will carry our mission across borders – from evaluating and entering new markets to achieving the first commercial successes.

As an Expansion Manager (m/f/d), you will be at the forefront of our international growth. You will be working closely with our Founders and other C-Level. You are the driving force behind our expansion – evaluating and entering new markets, building local entities, and laying the foundation for long-term success.
Your responsibilities include, among others:
Company Building: You structure and establish local entities, define operational processes, and build the first on-site teams in collaboration with our headquarters.
Market Entry Strategy: You independently develop strategies for new markets – from analyzing regulatory and economic frameworks to designing the foundations for Go-to-market activities and local product launches.
Commercial Launch: You support initial customer segmentation and acquisition, creating the foundation for sustainable local traction in close collaboration with Sales, Product, and Operations.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Strategic Project Management: You plan, manage, and execute expansion projects end-to-end, with a clear focus on speed, quality, and results.
Iteration & Scaling: You convert successful models into standardized playbooks and prepare subsequent market entries.
Who are we looking for
You have several years of experience in fast-paced environments, e.g., as a project manager at a top-tier strategy consulting firm or in a highly dynamic startup. Additional experience in the energy sector is a strong plus.
You have outstanding project management skills and can implement complex issues in a pragmatic, structured, and results-oriented way.
You possess entrepreneurial mindset and understand how to strategically and operationally build new business areas.
You work analytically, goal-oriented, and with high-quality standards without losing the enjoyment of speed and a hands-on mentality.
You have a strong affinity for digital tools, understand complex systems, and think in terms of scaling.
You demonstrate excellence in communication and stakeholder management – both internally and externally, across all levels.
You speak fluent German and English, additional European languages are a plus.
You are based in Berlin or willing to relocate, with occasional travel to new locations.
