About the role
We’re looking for a hands-on, strategic leader to join our Executive Leadership team as Director of Finance & Corporate Services. Reporting to our COO, you will oversee the organisation’s financial strategy, risk management, and operational foundation, ensuring long-term growth, stability, and compliance as we scale.
This is a high-impact role with oversight of finance, analytics, legal, people operations, and administration, where your decisions will shape our organisation’s future.
What you’ll do
Shape our financial strategy and performance
Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
Create and manage a multi-year roadmap for building our financial infrastructure.
Advise the executive team and board on performance, risks, and the impact of strategic decisions.
Build clear KPI frameworks, dashboards, tools, and processes to improve unit economics.
Oversee accounting, cash flow, and compliance.
Strengthen financial processes, internal controls, and reporting standards.
Ensure strong governance, compliance, and risk management
Oversee legal, tax, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
Manage external counsel, auditors, and key partners.
Structure and negotiate critical contracts and vendor agreements.
Anticipate and mitigate financial, operational, and data risks.
Act as a trusted partner to investors and key stakeholders
Support board reporting and investor communications.
Support due diligence and strategic transactions.
Build strong relationships with investors, banks, auditors, and regulators.
Ensure transparency, credibility, and high-quality financial disclosures.
Collaborate cross-functionally with other senior leaders to drive organisational success.
Bring financial and operational insights to the executive leadership team to inform strategic plan and key decisions.
Strengthen and scale our internal operations
Oversee people operations, payroll, and core policies.
Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organisational design.
Improve systems, tools, and administrative processes.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
What success looks like
In your first month, you’ll build a deep understanding of our business model, financial health, and current systems. You’ll form strong relationships with the leadership team and assess where we stand across finance, legal, and administration.
Within three months, you’ll present a clear roadmap for improvement, deliver early high-impact wins, and bring greater clarity to our financial and operational performance.
Within six months, key initiatives from your roadmap will be underway and already driving measurable results.
What we value for this role
Experience & background
8-10+ years in senior finance roles, ideally in high-growth or scaling environments.
Proven experience in financial modeling, planning, analytics, and executive-level decision support.
Strong corporate finance knowledge and understanding of accounting frameworks and financial reporting standards.
Exposure to legal, compliance, and people operations.
Experience in international or multi-entity environments.
Demonstrated leadership skills navigating in a fast-changing environment.
Carbon markets knowledge is a plus.

Fluent in English (French and/or Portuguese are a plus).
What we offer
Starting date: April 2026
Type of contract: Permanent, full-time
Location: This position is remote only. A significant overlap with French business hours is required.
Compensation: The final compensation offered will be contingent upon role, level, and location. Our People team can share the specific salary range during the hiring process.
