Join us on our journey: To support this mission, we are looking for a proactive and driven Sales Manager – Offtake Origination based in Madrid, Spain. If you take initiative, adapt quickly, and own outcomes, we’d love to hear from you. In this role, you will be a main point of contact for leads, prospects, and customers in Iberia. From initial discussions to deal signing and go-live, you will guide customers through the full commercial journey, working closely with both our local Commercial team and global Offtake team to build strong, long-term relationships.

  • Location: Madrid, Spain

  • Employment Type: Full-Time, indefinite term

  • Salary: 60-75k Euro, depending on experience and qualifications + 20-30% variable bonus

  • Working Mode: Office work setup with expectations to travel (stakeholder meetings in Europe and strategic alignments with our headquarters in Munich)

  • Language Requirement: Fluent Spanish and English proficiency (C1 level both)

  • Manage the full sales cycle - from prospecting and first contact through negotiation and contract signing - translating customer needs into clear proposals in collaboration Product and Technical teams.

  • Ensure a smooth handover to the Operations team and a successful go-live for every customer.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through the fast-evolving storage market while ensuring strong engagement and satisfaction levels.

  • Build and manage a pipeline of commercial partners — IPPs, utilities and offtakers – that can provide compelling revenue structures to Entrix’s Customers improving bankability prospects.

  • Manage the local relationship with commercial partners in close collaboration with the central function - serve as the go-to point of contact between the local team and the global offtake and partnerships team

  • Source, develop and support on closing offtake contracts between BESS owners and counterparties

  • Represent Entrix at conferences and industry events, strengthening our visibility and positioning.

  • Support the ongoing development of our offerings by aligning with regulatory changes, market trends, and customer feedback.

We’re looking for someone who is deeply proactive and accountable - someone who doesn’t just identify problems but owns them, and is energized by bringing clarity and progress to complexity.


Mandatory Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, project origination, key account management, ideally within the energy sector, renewables, trading, or infrastructure finance

  • Experience on PPA origination, energy trading, structured energy sales, or renewable project finance, with a proven track record of originating and closing high-value contracts

  • Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to bridge technical, financial, and legal aspects of complex agreements

  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and excited about building Entrix’s business in a fast-scaling environment

  • High adaptability and comfort with change — you embrace learning and iteration in a dynamic environment

Skills to Set You Apart

  • Experience in BESS, PV and Co-location of renewable projects in Iberia

  • Understanding of the financing context for infrastructure projects, notably energy and/or renewables financing, in a context of projects needing to secure enough contracted revenues to ensure good bankability

  • You have a strong sense of agency: you’re someone who turns ideas into action and doesn’t just talk about change

  • You operate with a growth mindset: you see challenges as opportunities, adapt fast, and are constantly learning

  • You are deeply responsible: when you see a problem, you take ownership and drive toward solutions, rather than waiting to be asked

My background is in renewables across business development, growth, sales, and M&A, with experience at OX2, Ventient Energy (now rebranded Nadara), and Vestas. Outside work I spend a lot of time with my family, I am a big football fan and love travelling. I am Portuguese and living in Madrid for a long time.

We’re at an early stage here — which means real ownership, fast pace, and the chance to shape something meaningful from day one. It’s ambitious, hands-on, and definitely not “business as usual.”
