Job description

Apiday is a comprehensive sustainability data platform designed to help companies worldwide manage their ESG performance effectively. We are looking for an ESG Advisory Consultant to support companies in designing, implementing, and improving their sustainability and ESG strategies. You will work closely with clients to assess ESG maturity, structure reporting processes, identify regulatory requirements, and translate sustainability ambitions into practical action plans.

This is an opportunity to join an international, committed, and ambitious team, gain exposure to the fast-paced environment of a growing start-up, and support a variety of clients in their ESG approach.

Your role will include:

  • Support clients, alongside senior ESG team members, in defining and implementing ESG and sustainability strategies and roadmaps.

  • Help clients prepare for ESG reporting requirements, including SFDR, SDR, CSRD (VSME), EU Taxonomy, GRI, SASB, TCFD, and other relevant frameworks.

  • Collect, structure, and analyze ESG data across environmental, social, and governance topics.

  • Prepare and/or review SFDR disclosures, including PAIs (Principal Adverse Impacts) calculations.

  • Contribute to ESG due diligence processes and ESG risk assessments, particularly in the context of financial institutions and investment activities.

  • Prepare client deliverables, including reports, presentations, roadmaps, dashboards, and action plan recommendations.

  • Monitor ESG regulatory developments and market best practices.

  • Participate in business development activities, proposals, and client presentations.

Preferred experience

  • You have studied or are studying at a Management, Business, or Engineering school or university, preferably with a specialization in ESG, CSR, sustainability, climate, or sustainable finance.

  • You already have some experience in sustainability through internships or a first professional experience.

  • Ideally, you have gained exposure to financial institutions (asset managers, banks, private equity, etc.) and are familiar with ESG due diligence processes, ESG risk assessments, SFDR disclosures, and PAI calculations.

  • You are curious, rigorous, organized, structured, proactive, and autonomous. You enjoy working in a team and with customers. You want to develop your ESG skills and are motivated to learn and become an expert on the subject.

  • You speak and write English and French.

  • Knowledge of European regulations on ESG topics (EU Taxonomy, SFDR, SDR, etc.) and ESG frameworks (TCFD, UNPRI, GRI etc).

Recruitment process

  • Intro call with Margaux (Head of People) - up to 30 min

  • Case study with Pauline (ESG Team Lead) - up to 1h

  • Reference checks with previous managers

  • Final conversation with Edouard (Co-Founder) - up to 30 min
